During the week, Kathryn is a library assistant at an elementary school. On weekends, she loves to be outside in the backyard, preferably working in the garden (but in our climate, we only have a few months to enjoy it!) In the evenings, she can usually be found with a glass of wine in one hand and a piece of dark chocolate in the other. She loves to travel when time and money allow, with her two favorite places being Monterey, California and Positano, Italy.
A great meal, made with fresh ingredients, served beautifully, is one of the small pleasures of life, and Kathryn spends plenty of time searching for new recipes and cooking for her family. Kathryn and Tori head to the local farmer’s market every Saturday morning in the summer. Kathryn loves to discover local restaurants, and most Friday nights are spent eating out with Layne and Tori.
Anyone who has spent more than five minutes with Kathryn knows that one of her favorite things in the entire world is music, more specifically matchbox twenty. She has traveled the country to attend concerts, and has met many of her closest friends through this band. A little known fact is that she was in one of their music videos!
