Pretty Feet

One of the gifts Tori received for her 7th birthday was the Pretty Pedicure Salon by Creativity for Kids / Faber-Castell.  Since her birthday is in the spring, we decided to wait until summer when we could use it outside (mom isn’t a fan of inflatable tubs of water in the house!)

We opened the kit and took out all the goodies, which included an inflatable tub, nail polish, nail stickers, slippers, toe separators, file, confetti soap, a towel, a little bag to hold the small items, and a large tote to hold everything.

We (“we” = “mom”) blew up the little pool and filled it with water, and Tori was ready to begin!
She soaked her feet while the dog watched, then added the confetti soap, which soon dissolved.  She especially loved the little towel, because it was one of those that is all compressed into about 2 inches and then it expands in water.
Yep, that’s the dog’s nose!

She dried off her feet, put on the toe separators, then applied the nail polish.  She chose a pattern of alternating pink and blue polish, but opted not to use the stickers today.  When she was done, she slipped on the pedicure slippers and waited for the polish to dry.
Once done, she declared this product a success, said she wanted to use it again, and rated it 10/10.  That’s definitely a success, I’d say!
